Dr. Patrice Sentino, DSW, LCSW-BACS, ACSW

Patrice Sentino was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1971.  Patrice actively embraced her parent’s encouragements and excelled at Southern University at New Orleans, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Substance Abuse Counseling in 1995 and a Master of Social Work (MSW) in 1998.  Two years later in 2000, she became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and in 2002 she was approved as a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (BACS).  In 2016, she received a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  Throughout her years in college, she was able to balance an exceptional career, in which she participated in community activities and advocated for minorities and human rights on campus and throughout the Greater New Orleans area.  Her outreach and commitment to families affected by HIV, mental illness, addictions and homelessness has made her a powerful advocate in the Greater New Orleans area for the interests of hundreds of New Orleanians who have fought their challenges for years.  Patrice realized that children and families are faced with a multitude of challenges, and she has the ability to impact a positive change for these children and families.  As a clinician, educator and visionary Patrice has impacted ever-changing communities throughout New Orleans.  Through her innovative ideas, and support of mental health/behavioral health, healthcare, social services, education, and mentoring of young people and families, Sentino continues to help develop, support and transform systems to its prominence. She is the founder and CEO of Center for Hope Children and Family Services, LLC.  Sentino, as a member of the National Association Social Workers, and a host of other associations, she continues to practice, implement, develop and advocate for a united Greater New Orleans addressing the ever-changing needs.  She is a respected expert on behavioral health and health care policies, and their impact on urban communities.  Her colleagues described her as well-suited to lead agencies, organizations and advisory boards, where she continues to impact policy in behavioral health/healthcare, the environment, crime prevention, juvenile justice, housing, jobs, and recreation. In a distinguished career that has spanned over 20 years, Mrs. Sentino has performed all of these roles with superiority and is one of the most accomplished servant-leaders in the State of Louisiana.

Michael J. Sentino born in New Orleans, Louisiana is a Senior Executive (Chief Financial Officer) here at Center for Hope Children and Family Services, LLC. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Ministries from International Bible Institute. As a servant leader, visionary, advocate, and educator in the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan area; he continues to work towards setting the standard for all people. Over the years, Sentino has given more than 100 presentations, seminars, and lectures on a wide variety of topics here in New Orleans and other countries. His current presentations, seminars and/or lectures are focused on business leadership, agency sustainability, Christianity and servant leadership, the Paradoxical Commandments, finding personal meaning at home, work and the positive impact of morality in the workplace. Sentino is a respected expert on technology, financial records management, securing financial resources, projects, and mission, and healthcare policies, and their impact on urban communities. Sentino is business focused; community oriented and has provided civic and mission services throughout the US and other countries. In a distinguished professional career that has spanned over 25 years, Sentino has performed all of these roles with excellence. He is also the recipient of service awards, citations and other honors too numerous to list.

Dr. Derrick Freemen, Ph.D., ACSW

Derrick Freeman is one of New Orleans’ most visionary and accomplished Social Workers. As a social worker, advocate and educator in the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan area, he continues to work towards setting the standard for all people. Derrick helped transform a broken New Orleans Juvenile Court into a model for the nation’s urban inner cities Juvenile Justice Systems. Through his innovative ideas, and support of mental health/behavioral health, healthcare, social services, education, and mentoring of young people and families, Freeman continues to help develop, support and transform systems to its prominence. Freeman, as a member of the National Association Social Workers, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and a host of other associations, he continues to practice, implement, develop and advocate for a united Greater New Orleans addressing the ever-changing needs. He is a respected expert on behavioral health and health care policies, and their impact on urban communities. His colleagues described him as well-suited to lead agencies, organizations and advisory boards, where he impacted policy in behavioral health, health care for the aging and infrastructure, the environment, crime prevention, juvenile justice, housing, jobs, and recreation. Freeman was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1970. A 1988 graduate of Warren Easton Fundamental High School, Freeman earned a BA in Sociology/Social Welfare, a BS in Substance Abuse Counseling in 1995, and an MSW in 1998 from Southern University at New Orleans, and received a Ph.D. degree from Jackson State University 2012. In a distinguished professional career that has spanned over 18 years, Dr. Freeman has performed all of these roles with excellence and is one of the most accomplished servant-leaders in the nation.
